Case Study Service

When I was in high school, my history teacher used to provide us with course outlines. From those outlines, I first came across the phrase ‘case study service’. I initially couldn’t fathom what a case study meant. I noted that every term ‘case study’ was followed by full colons and kind of a story heading either on some prominent historical figure or a particular country. These common observations gave me some clue of what a case study might be all about. During my high school days, I was constantly disturbed at how edgy I got whenever I was faced with some new terminology; I lacked the patience to wait for the teacher to give explanations in class and so I always took the initiative to inquire about any ambiguities long before they could be addressed. (I occasionally think that some of my teachers must have considered me a nuisance). The history teacher was my favorite and always welcomed my inquisitiveness. She was comfortable to explain to me what a student research paper was. Basically, a case study is a detailed example that illustrates a certain argument or observation. For instance, one may say that women have been sidelined when it comes to matters of agricultural development. This is a sweeping statement that can be substantiated and best illustrated by exploring a scenario which clearly portrays how this occurs. The author can give a case study of a particular country just to illustrate this. I think that my liking for history as a subject is partly because history is made up of not just one free research papers but a good number, which are normally very interesting to read.
